When pain comes, let me choose to allow endurance to grow in me. When I encounter opposition, let me not become angry or discouraged.
Remind me that I am a disciple of Yours, Lord Jesus. Move me to follow Your example: Because of the joy ahead, You endured the cross, paying no attention to its shame. Now You are seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
Lord Jesus, I ask these things for Your honor. Amen
Coffee/tea thought: Today, whatever my need, let me allow God’s grace to strengthen me.
