A Few Practical Thoughts On Prayer 1

中文 : Chinese Version

“When you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” — Jesus, Matt. 6.6 NLT

We can pray anywhere. In a car, on a bus,  in an office or while walking outside, for example. We don’t have to shut a physical door, we do have to _choose_ to “shut the door” on distractions.

Today the most serious impediment to prayer is electronic connectivity.

Coffee ThoughtCoffee/tea thought: Can I take a moment right now to “shut the door” against something distracting me from communication with my Father?
