Invisible Presence

“By faith he [Moses] left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is _invisible_.” (Heb. 11.27 NIV)

Moses was able to trust God’s care and protection because he discerned the presence and activity of God.

I am trying to be more aware of looking for and noticing God’s presence and activity.

When I do, sometimes I almost palpably “feel” a spiritual growth spurt. Then I find it easier to trust God in things that might worry me.

And I am moved to try to be more continually aware of God, and to allow the Holy Spirit to strengthen my faith.

Coffee/tea ThoughtCoffee/tea thought: Take a few moments to ponder the past few days. Do you notice times when God was clearly present and working in your situation?
