中文:Chinese Version

Jesus’ decision to become a human is described this way:

“Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being.
When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.”

As Win and I talked about this, we realized that Jesus himself modeled what the old Christian writers meant by the term “indifference.” He did not “cling to” his equality with God. Jesus gave up his divine privileges.

Indifference involves letting go of our own anxious grasping, so we can say YES to GOD’S amazing invitations and ways.

Coffee/tea ThoughtCoffee/tea thought: Lord Jesus, please work in me the attitude YOU had when You came to earth as a human baby.
