How to Have Job Satisfaction In 2003

The size of your salary…
The location your office…
How many people work under you…
—- None of these things give your work lasting value.

*Why* you do your job determines the lasting value of your work.

If you choose to serve God in your work, *nothing* you do is
insignificant.

Your work may seem unnoticed by other people… but it will have
*unimaginable significance* for eternity.

So, whether you teach, wash clothes, write, type, study, repair,
counsel, sell, take data, diagnose, or change diapers — do it for
God!

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for
the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an
inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ
you are serving.”
(Colossians 3, NIV)
